Self Portrait | 2025
Zoe Grey is an Oakland-based multimedia artist whose practice centers on painting and illustration.
Rooted in queer and feminist frameworks, her work engages processes of queer communitymaking and archival inquiry - in additional to incorporating personal lived experience - as a means of shaping and communicating shared realities. Drawing from domestic interiors and familiar household spaces, Grey explores how the home operates as both a personally intimate site, and also as a venue for collective aesthetics and sensibilities.
